Absolutely wonderful garden and outdoor supply store! Mr. Joel and the entire staff were very friendly and helpful with everything I needed. Prices are fair, and the selection for chemicals and fertilizers is the best I've seen anywhere in the Jackson area! I cannot wait to go back!

Conversation with Gemini Write me a view about hutto's garden center short Hutto's Garden Center in Jackson is widely considered a staple for Mississippi gardeners, known for its massive selection and knowledgeable staff. Here is a brief overview of what makes it stand out: Why It’s a Local Favorite Quality & Variety: They carry a huge inventory that goes far beyond standard big-box stores. You’ll find everything from vibrant annuals and perennials to sturdy ornamental trees and shrubs. Specialty Items: It is a go-to spot for specialized gardening needs, including high-quality fruit trees (like citrus and figs), pottery, and professional-grade fertilizers. The Experience: Walking through the greenhouses feels more like visiting a botanical garden. The layout is organized, making it easy to find specific "performance tips" for whatever you’re planting. Expertise: The staff actually knows the local climate. Whether you're dealing with Mississippi clay or pests, they can offer specific advice to keep your greenery thriving.

I’ve been to this store enough to know that their items are overpriced. I have purchased items before but only if I can’t find them anywhere else. I stopped by to look at the outdoor benches. Mr. Joel (?) assisted and was not friendly, AT ALL!! He has a horrible personality. I almost felt like he was a racist! I have dealt with it long enough to sense one when I see him/her. He may be in management because another gentleman told me her set prices. They don’t give veteran discount! Smh When I asked all he said was NO. I’ve decided I will never return to the store. If you want my business at least pretend you do! My money can be spent elsewhere and I’m sure I’ll at least get a nice hello and smile. Highly recommended not visiting this store!

The employees at Hutto's are great They're super helpful and they are professional. The only reason I didn't give Hutto's 5 stars is because they don't deliver right now due to lack of drivers.

The customer service was excellent! The store is very clean, organized, well-lit, and well-stocked. They took me directly to the items I needed and crafted the perfect custom solution for my family's yard security needs. They were so helpful! Hutto's is a gem in the Jackson community!!! Upon entering the store and when exiting, the staff were so cordial and amiable. I plan on attending their upcoming workshop!
